June McDoom releases her debut record “Follow the Light” available on limited edition Pink Clear Vinyl. June McDoom has gained a name for herself of late, most recently by providing backing vocals for Big Thief on their album Double Infinity, she also performed with them live on Jimmy Kimmel, he has done support tours with the likes of Clairo, Jessica Pratt, and Brittany Howard and is an NTS resident. This debut blends the genres that carried her to where she is now: folk, reggae, dub creating a dream like sound filled with analogue experimentation. Influences include Wall of Sound, Dionne Warwick, Minnie Riperton, Pentangle and the washy, stellar guitars of Cocteau Twins’ Victorialand.
